The Day began with a Parade led by the Park Forest Fire Department and the Huth Knights Drumline (former Wildcats)! The Mayor of Park Forest, Mayor Joe Woods, led the Parade along with Mrs. Hutsona and Mrs. King.
The Wildcats, Indiana Parents, and community members marched around Indiana School excited to start the annual Pumpkin Day!
Our students enjoyed our traditional Pumpkin Day Olympics, and the day ended with every Wildcat receiving a bag of candy and of course, a PUMPKIN! A fun time was had by All!
A very special thanks to Matteson School District 162, Dr. Blondean Davis, the Arcadia/Indiana PTO, Mayor Joe Woods and the Village of Park Forest, Ms. Brenda Calvin and the Huth Knights, Home Depot of Frankfort, the Indiana Parents and Families, and of course, the amazing Staff of Indiana School!
